This hotel offers an affordable stay with a fantastic location just steps away from the beach, making it a great base for exploring Maui. The ocean view from the room was stunning, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. However, the rooms could use some updates as the decor is a bit dated and some amenities could be improved, like Wi-Fi access in the rooms. The pool area was nice, but it could have been warmer for a more enjoyable experience.

I had an amazing time at the Maui Lu! The location is absolutely perfect, with stunning ocean views right from my room. The accommodations are basic but clean, and the private beach is a fantastic bonus. The staff is really helpful, but it can feel a bit secluded since it's away from shopping and dining options. Overall, a great value for a trip to Maui!
